NPFL: Barau FC Sack Technical Adviser Ladan Bosso After First Stanza
Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Barau FC has officially parted ways with their Technical Adviser, Ladan Bosso, following the conclusion of the first stanza of the 2024/2025 league season.
The club confirmed the development in an official statement, revealing that Bosso’s contract was terminated by the management after a review of the team’s performance in the first half of the campaign. The decision forms part of the club’s efforts to improve results ahead of the second stanza of the season.
Barau FC also announced that Bosso’s assistant has been directed to take charge of the team on an interim basis. The club is expected to assess the situation closely while considering its next steps regarding the technical crew.
Despite the separation, Barau FC expressed appreciation to Ladan Bosso for his contributions during his time at the club and wished him success in his future coaching career.
Barau FC currently occupies 17th position on the NPFL table with 21 points. Under Bosso’s tenure, the team recorded five wins, six draws, and eight defeats, leaving the club battling to move away from the relegation zone.
