Nouhou Tolo extends his contract with Seattle Sounders FC
The Cameroonian defender is now tied to the American club until 2029 with an option for an additional year
Seattle Sounders FC has decided to keep its Cameroonian defender on the team. Nouhou Tolo, who has been with the team since 2017, will continue his Major League Soccer adventure and remain with the club for the next three years.
His new contract runs until the 2028-2029 season with an option for 2029-2030, according to an announcement made by Seattle Sounders FC in a press release announcing the contract renewals of several of its players.
Securing Nouhou, Alex, Danny and Osaze is an important step in maintaining continuity within our roster. Nouhou and Alex have been core members of this group for years and understand the standard that comes with representing this club. Danny and Osaze both showed last season that they can be impactful attacking players in our league. Rewarding players who have performed and committed themselves to the team is a priority for us, and we’re pleased to keep this group together as we continue building toward our goals, said Sounders FC General Manager and Chief Soccer Officer Craig Waibel.
