Nottingham Forest prepare high-profile transfer of ex-RB Leipzig star
Despite being penalised for financial fair play last season, Nottingham Forest are set to continue their high-profile transfer campaign.
‘Foresters’ intended to sign Feyenoord star Santiago Jimenez, but he refused to move to the Premier League outsider. And then, according to ESPN, there is a replacement in the person of Ajax forward Brian Brobbey, although the negotiations are at an early stage.
However, the former RB Leipzig player does not intend to move to Nottingham Forest and wants to stay at Ajax. Nor does his agent Jose Rodriguez consider this team a good career continuation for Brobbey:
‘Brian will only leave Ajax if it is a good move,’ De Telegraaf quotes him as saying. The fact that Ajax have financial problems is not my problem. I won't send my player to any club. They can forget about it.’
