Nottingham Forest confirm the signing of Ousmane Diomande
The Ivory Coast international defender has signed a four-season contract with an option for a further year.
Ousmane Diomande is embarking on a new chapter in his career. The 22-year-old Ivory Coast defender has left Sporting CP in Portugal after three seasons to join the English Premier League.
The Ivory Coast international has signed for Nottingham Forest. The English club announced the 22-year-old’s transfer this Tuesday 11 August. Ousmane Diomande has signed a four-season contract with an optional extra year. He will therefore represent Nottingham Forest until June 2030.
The transfer fee is estimated at 40 million euros. Upon the official announcement of his move, Ousmane Diomande spoke of his ambitions for his new team.
“I’m very happy to be here. It’s a historic club, and that motivates me to join it. I’ll give my all and do everything I can to help the team.”
