Nottingham Forest Confirm Callum Hudson-Odoi Out for Season After Surgery
Callum Hudson-Odoi Out for Season
Nottingham Forest have confirmed that winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has undergone surgery on a muscle injury and will miss the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old picked up the injury after coming on as a substitute in Forest’s 1-0 UEFA Europa League victory over FC Porto last week. He was forced off in the 73rd minute at the City Ground, visibly emotional as he left the pitch.
Subsequent scans confirmed the extent of the issue, ruling Hudson-Odoi out for the final five games of the Premier League season.
In an official statement, Nottingham Forest said: “Callum is expected to return to full training during the pre-season period, and everyone at the club wishes him a speedy recovery.”
