"Nothing has changed": Flick on Araujo's situation

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick commented on the situation surrounding central defender Ronald Araujo, who reportedly wants to leave the club this winter.

Quote: "I’m not going to disclose what I discussed with him. But he’s a Barcelona player, nothing has changed. We’ve seen how good he is when he’s on the pitch, once again. He’s a leader, one of the best in the world. We expect the best from Ronald,” Fabrizio Romano quoted Flick as saying.

Earlier reports indicated that Barcelona is blocking Araujo’s potential move to Juventus due to an injury to Iñigo Martínez, who is sidelined for six weeks.

Reminder: It was also reported that Araujo is determined to leave and is planning to meet with the club’s sporting director, Deco, in the near future.
