The authoritative English portal FourFourTwo has unveiled its version of the ranking of the best footballers of the 90s.
Topping the list is the legendary Frenchman, Zinedine Zidane, who led France to its first-ever World Cup victory in 1998 and won the Ballon d'Or in the same year.
The Brazilian striker,Ronaldo, who claimed the top individual award in 1997 and became the top scorer in the 1998 World Cup, and the Italian, Roberto Baggio, also a former Ballon d'Or winner, are following Zidane.
The top five also includes the legendary AC Milan defender, Paolo Maldini, and Rivaldo, who showcased stellar football at Barcelona.
Earlier reports stated that six jerseys worn by Messi at the 2022 World Cup were sold at auction for almost 8 million dollars.
