Not only Palmer. Chelsea will extend the contract of another key player
Yesterday, Chelsea officially announced the contract extension of their key midfielder, Cole Palmer, until the summer of 2033. However, the club is not stopping there.
According to The Telegraph, Chelsea is also set to extend the contract of their main striker, Nicolas Jackson, in the coming weeks. His current contract runs until the summer of 2031, but the new deal will also extend until 2033.
It is reported that the Senegalese forward's salary will see a significant increase as part of the new agreement.
Nicolas Jackson joined Chelsea last summer from Villarreal for €37 million. In 35 Premier League appearances, he has recorded 14 goals and 5 assists.
On Sunday, August 18, Chelsea will play their first match of the new Premier League season against Manchester City.
