Not Fran Garcia. It is revealed who will replace Mendy on the left in Real's defense against Arsenal

Today, Real Madrid will play away against Arsenal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals. In this match, the team's head coach Carlo Ancelotti will make an unconventional decision.

Details: According to Marca, the Italian coach has decided not to start left-back Fran Garcia in place of the injured Ferland Mendy.

The spot of the Frenchman will be taken by the experienced David Alaba, who generally plays as a central defender for Real Madrid. However, he previously played on the left side of the defense for Bayern Munich.

Ancelotti has also decided that Lucas Vazquez will play on the right side of the defense, instead of Fede Valverde.

Reminder: Previously, Real Madrid's main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois stated that he has recovered and is 100% ready for the match.
