Over the past few weeks, rumours have circulated about where midfielder Douglas Luiz would continue his career, and only now has he made his decision.
Details: According to Ben Jacobs, the player has agreed his move from Juventus to Aston Villa. Given that Chelsea were also interested in him, the Blues will now have to look for another player. The Birmingham side have won this battle.
There is already a verbal agreement between Juventus and Villa regarding a paid loan with an option to buy.
Meanwhile, Belgian midfielder Romeo Lavia has returned to training with Chelsea. However, the London club still wants to complete a transfer and sign a player for the Belgian’s position.
Reminder: 28-year-old Beşiktaş forward Tammy Abraham intends to sign a contract with Aston Villa this weekend. Villa will pay €21 million for the player, including bonuses.
