Today, December 17, in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, the men's mass start race took place.

Notably, there were no surprises — the race was won by Johannes Thingnes Boe, who with two misses, outpaced his compatriot Johannes Dale by almost 15 seconds. The third place was taken by another Norwegian and Johannes' older brother, Tarjei Boe. It's worth mentioning that among the top six, there was only one representative from a non-Norwegian team, Martin Ponsiluoma from Sweden, who crossed the finish line in fourth place.

It's important to note that Laegreid received disqualification before the race, as reported earlier. Additionally, this was the final race of the year. The Biathlon World Cup will resume on January 4th in Oberhof, Germany, for its fourth stage.
