The penultimate stage of the Biathlon World Cup of the current season is drawing to a close in Salt Lake City, USA. Today, on March 10th, the women's 10km pursuit race took place.

Following the results of yesterday's sprint, Justine Braisaz started first, with Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, the overall leader, beginning with a 13-second gap behind the French athlete.

Starting from the third position, Lou Jeanmonneau achieved victory in this race, beating Lisa Vittozzi by 0.4 seconds. Both the Frenchwoman and her Italian competitor missed only one shot during shooting. They were joined on the podium by last season's winner Julia Simon.

It's worth noting the failure of the Norwegian team, with only Karoline Knotten making it into the top 10. Tandrevold, incidentally, crossed the finish line in 11th place after completing six penalty laps.
