Norwegian Club Lillestrøm SK Complete Signing of Seun Akanji From Sporting Lagos

Norwegian side Lillestrøm SK have officially completed the signing of Nigerian winger Seun Akanji from Sporting Lagos on a four-year contract.

Akanji first caught the club's attention when he went on trial with Lillestrøm as a 16-year-old in January 2025. His performances impressed the coaching staff, prompting the club to secure an option to sign him once he turned 18.

The talented winger has now completed his long-awaited move and expressed his excitement after putting pen to paper.

"I'm incredibly happy to be here. Signing for a fantastic club like this means a lot to me. This is a big dream come true, and I'm ready to give everything I have for the club," Akanji said.
