Italian side Milan has decided against pursuing Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi and will not continue negotiations for his transfer.
Earlier reports indicated that the Rossoneri had made contact with the London club regarding the 27-year-old Frenchman. However, according to Matteo Moretto, Milan has opted not to move forward with this option.
Disasi's candidacy was proposed to the Italian club, but after an internal evaluation, management concluded they would instead put their trust in Koni De Winter, who was signed last summer and enjoys significant confidence from the coaching staff.
It is worth noting that Disasi has not played a single match this season. The defender's last appearance was in April 2025, when he was on loan at Aston Villa.
