No superstar show: Messi won't attend Super Bowl 2026
Lionel Messi will not be among the guests at the upcoming Super Bowl 2026. The Argentine superstar will be absent from this year's event, as reported by journalist Jose Armando.
The source did not disclose the reasons for Messi's absence, but it's clear it is connected to his preparations for the new MLS season. Inter Miami is currently on a tour of Latin America, which means Lionel won't be making an appearance at the Super Bowl in the United States.
It's worth recalling that the Super Bowl traditionally attracts global celebrities. Messi's appearance at last year's game sparked a wave of excitement and drew the attention of millions of viewers.
Additionally, Super Bowl 2026 is set to take place on February 8 at Levi's Stadium in California, where the New England Patriots will face the Seattle Seahawks.
