No shortage of surprises: WTA Miami Open semifinalists revealed


On the night of Thursday, March 27, the decisive quarterfinal matches of the WTA Miami Open tennis tournament took place. Now all the semifinalists are known.
Details: The main shock was the exit of world number two Iga Swiatek. She lost to the world number 140 and exited the race for the prestigious trophy. In the other matches, there were no such surprises.
Aryna Sabalenka confidently defeated China's Qinwen Zheng, Italy's Jasmine Paolini easily overcame Magda Linette, and Jessica Pegula secured a victory over Emma Raducanu with a score of 2:1. All other matches ended with a 2:0 score.
