No sex or cannabis! Mike Tyson on his preparation for the fight with Jake Paul
Boxing legend Mike Tyson revealed that, in order to better prepare for his upcoming fight with Jake Paul, he decided to give up smoking cannabis and engaging in sexual activity, as reported by the Daily Mail.
This Friday, Iron Mike will return to the ring after a 19-year hiatus. Tyson’s preparation for the bout includes not only daily training sessions, gym workouts, strength training, and massages, but also other essential elements.
The legendary boxer shared that, during this preparation period, he has eliminated both sex and cannabis from his daily routine.
"I hate not being able to smoke, but I’m doing it like I love it. I hate not being able to sleep with my wife but I'm doing it like I love it," Tyson said in an interview.
Additionally, Mike has decided to abandon veganism. He switched to a plant-based diet back in 2010, but ahead of his return to the ring, he opted to return to a meat-based diet.
It’s worth recalling that Mike Tyson was the undisputed world heavyweight champion. His last fight took place on June 11, 2005, against Irishman Kevin McBride, in which Tyson suffered a technical knockout loss.
