No reunion in sight? Bongani Sam's future at Kaizer Chiefs in doubt

This summer, Kaizer Chiefs are undergoing a major squad overhaul, and fans were hoping to see the legendary Orlando Pirates trio reunited in the AmaKhosi lineup. But, for now, that reunion remains out of reach.
Details: According to Soccer Laduma, the possible arrivals of Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane from Orlando Pirates would all but end left-back Bongani Sam’s chances of featuring for AmaKhosi.
The 27-year-old fullback, who moved to the Naturena side from Orlando Pirates last summer, never made his debut for the team as he struggled with injuries. Now, the potential signing of Mako would push Sam even further down Nasreddine Nabi’s pecking order, making it unlikely he’ll be part of Kaizer Chiefs’ plans for the upcoming season.
Reminder: Both South African football giants are showing interest in SuperSport United’s dynamic fullback Neo Rapoo.
