No definitive decision has been reached. The Bologna vs Milan match has indeed been postponed
The Serie A match between Bologna and Milan faced uncertainty as the league deliberated whether to proceed with the game.
On Thursday, October 24, it was announced that the Round 9 clash between Bologna and Milan had been postponed due to flooding in the region. The clubs proposed an alternative plan, but the league was unable to reach a consensus.
Details: According to journalist Nicolo Schira, a Serie A representatives' meeting was interrupted as no clear decision was made on rescheduling the match. Shortly afterward, news confirmed that the Bologna-Milan game had been postponed.
Bologna's CEO mentioned they would prefer the match to be rescheduled before April, but emphasized that the league holds responsibility. He added that any proceeds would be donated to families affected by the flooding.
Reminder: Earlier reports indicated that AC Milan is seriously considering the return of Sandro Tonali, who was sold to Newcastle in the summer of 2023 for €64 million.
