Details: According to world-renowned and highly respected journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano, on his social media page X, the Real Madrid board has officially informed Como's management that they are activating the buy-back option for 21-year-old midfielder Nico Paz.

However, according to Romano, Real are giving Como a chance to keep Paz by buying him back for €60 million. If Como does not respond to this offer by Monday, Real will put Paz on the transfer market for an even higher fee.

In the 2025/26 season, Nico Paz played 40 matches for Como, scoring 13 goals and providing 8 assists. According to Transfermarkt, the player is currently valued at €80 million.
