Nine for one: Chelsea plans major clearout to sign Guehi

Chelsea's large squad hasn't prevented issues in defense, especially with injuries to Wesley Fofana and Benoît Badiashile worsening the situation. The club is now seeking a new defender, but raising funds is essential—and they plan to act decisively.

Details: According to the Daily Mirror, Chelsea is prepared to offload as many as nine players during the winter transfer window to fund the signing of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, with the Eagles demanding a significant fee for him.

Players potentially leaving Stamford Bridge this winter include Christopher Nkunku, Ben Chilwell, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Cesare Casadei, Carney Chukwuemeka, Harvey Vale, and Alex Matos.

Reminder: Chukwuemeka has already attracted interest in the transfer market, with Borussia Dortmund reportedly among the interested parties.
