Niko Kovač reacted to Liverpool job rumors

Former Bayern Munich head coach Niko Kovač has responded to rumors about a possible job at Liverpool.

The Croatian specialist stated that the rumors linking him to the Merseyside club are not true.

“There’s no truth to Liverpool links emerged in the recent days. It’s not true”, told Kovac Sport & Talk.

Earlier reports indicated that representatives of Kovač were recently in London, exploring various Premier League clubs for potential changes in the coaching staff this summer and possible employment there.

Currently, Liverpool's bosses are engaged in finding a replacement for Jürgen Klopp, who will leave the team this summer. Previously, Ruben Amorim was linked to the job at Anfield, but he has denied any connections with the club.

Kovač's most recent coaching position was at Wolfsburg, from where the Croatian coach was dismissed in March.
