The defeat of Turin's Juventus by Galatasaray with a scoreline of 2-5 in the Champions League playoffs marked a historic collapse.

Details: The "Old Lady" conceded five goals in a single match of Europe's premier competition for just the second time in their storied history. The Turin defense, long regarded as the benchmark of reliability, simply couldn't withstand the onslaught from the Turkish powerhouse.

The only previous occasion this happened to the Turin side was way back in 1958. On October 1st, the Italian club suffered a crushing 0-7 defeat against Austria's Wiener SC.

This result puts Juventus in a precarious position heading into the return leg. The second leg is scheduled for Wednesday, February 25th at 21:00 Central European Time.

Reminder: Barcelona and Juventus will battle for Bournemouth defender Marcos Senesi.
