Nigerian Youngster John Otomewo Close to Joining French Club Stade Reims

Nigerian midfielder John Otomewo is reportedly on the verge of completing a move to French side Stade Reims as his transfer from Hapoel Jerusalem nears completion.

According to reports from France, Hapoel Jerusalem have reached an agreement with Stade Reims for the transfer of the highly rated 19-year-old.

The Israeli club are expected to receive €1.6 million from the Ligue 2 outfit as part of the deal.

Otomewo is reportedly set to arrive in Israel on Saturday before travelling to France to undergo his medical examinations ahead of completing the move.

If the transfer is finalised, the young Nigerian will begin the next chapter of his career in French football.
