Nigerian-Born Striker Kennedy Okpala Set to Join SC Paderborn from Waldhof Mannheim

Nigerian-born forward Kennedy Okpala is reportedly set to make the step up to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga as SC Paderborn reach an agreement with third-division side Waldhof Mannheim for his transfer, according to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg.

Okpala has been in remarkable form this season, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 17 league appearances, proving himself as a key attacking threat for Mannheim. With his contract running until summer 2026, SC Paderborn have the opportunity to secure the Nigerian-born striker ahead of the next season.
