Niger State Sports Commission Threatens to Withdraw Niger Tornadoes from NPFL

The Niger State Sports Commission has threatened to pull Niger Tornadoes out of the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following what it believes is unfair treatment of the club.

Commission chairman Danjuma Abdullahi Masu voiced strong opposition to the decision to relocate Tornadoes’ home matches to other states, describing the move as politically motivated and influenced by personal interests.

Masu called on the league authorities to immediately reverse the decision, insisting that the issue cited—poor camera viewing conditions at the club’s home ground—can be resolved within a week if given the opportunity.
