Côte d’Ivoire have recalled winger Nicolas Pépé to replace Yan Diomandé for upcoming international friendlies against South Korea on March 28 and Scotland on March 31, the federation confirmed on Sunday.
The call-up comes after the 19-year-old RB Leipzig winger, who has 9 international caps and 3 goals, withdrew from the squad due to a shoulder injury.
Pépé will now join the Ivorian squad for the two warm-up matches as the team prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
