Nicolas Pepe confirms his fine form this season

The Ivorian striker found the back of the net once again during Villarreal’s away match at the Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere.

Nicolas Pepe is enjoying a resurgence in form this season in the Spanish La Liga. At this stage of the season, the Ivorian international has already surpassed his tally from the previous campaign, in which he scored 3 goals and provided 6 assists. This season, Pepe is increasingly demonstrating the full extent of his talent.

Against Oviedo on Thursday 23 April during matchday 33 of La Liga, the Ivorian once again distinguished himself. He converted a penalty in the 13th minute to open the scoring for Villarreal. Although his team eventually conceded a draw, Nicolas Pepe added another goal to his tally.

He now has 6 goals and 4 assists in 31 La Liga appearances for Villarreal.
