Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson appears to no longer play a leading role in the attack for the head coach and the club.
Details: Insider Nicolo Schira has reported that Jackson is no longer considered a central player in Enzo Maresca's squad. Moreover, he could leave the club as early as this summer.
In the second round of the Club World Cup group stage, Nicolas Jackson came on in the 64th minute and left the pitch just four minutes later. He committed a reckless foul against a Flamengo player and was immediately shown a straight red card.
After that match, speaking to DAZN, Chelsea's head coach stated that it was a clear red card, with no room for debate.
