Nico Williams agrees contract with Barcelona

The young winger has finalized personal terms with the Catalan giants.

Details: According to insider Nicolo Schira, Athletic Bilbao's star winger Nico Williams has already met with the Blaugrana management to negotiate the terms of a potential transfer.

It is reported that the key demand of the 22-year-old midfielder was a guarantee of a spot in the starting lineup and consistent playing time—something that, apparently, Barcelona had no trouble promising.

Last season, the young winger featured in 45 matches for the Basques, netting 11 goals and providing seven assists. Nico has also earned 28 caps for the Spanish national team, where he has already scored six goals.
