Nice's head coach responds to club owner Jim Ratcliffe after his criticism

Nice's head coach Franck Haise reacted to recent statements by club owner Jim Ratcliffe, who said he doesn't enjoy watching the team's games due to the insufficiently high level of football. Ratcliffe, who has owned the club since 2019 through his company INEOS, also acquired 27.7% of Manchester United shares, increasing his stake to 28.94%.
Ratcliffe emphasized that the level of Nice's play does not excite him, despite the presence of some good players. However, Haise noted that such comments are based on old impressions, as Ratcliffe hasn't seen Nice's matches this season. Haise added that the coaching staff and players continue to work on improving the club's play, ignoring the criticism.
Currently, Nice is in 4th place in Ligue 1, which will secure them a spot in the Champions League for the next season. The team is only two points behind second place and is preparing to return to the elite of European football for the first time since the 2017-18 season.
