Nice are targeting Simon Banza
The French club is keen to strengthen its attack by signing the DR Congo international, who currently plays for Al-Jazira.
Nice are on the hunt for a replacement for Elye Wahi. The Ivory Coast international has returned to Eintracht Frankfurt following the end of his loan spell. However, Nice’s management are reportedly considering a Democratic Republic of the Congo international who is familiar with the French league.
The player in question is Simon Banza, who plays for Al-Jazira in the UAE League. Having scored nine goals and provided one assist last season in the Emirati league, the Congolese striker is said to be Nice’s top target, according to Foot Mercato. The French club is keen to sign the 29-year-old Congolese player to strengthen its attack.
If Nice manage to convince Simon Banza, he is set to return to Ligue 1 after previously playing for Lens. The Congolese player is under contract with Al-Jazira until 2028.
