On the night of Thursday, November 21, an NHL regular-season game took place between the Seattle Kraken and the Nashville Predators. The game began with a rather unusual incident.

Details: In the opening seconds of the match, Nashville was given a two-minute penalty. The reason for the penalty was that Filip Forsberg lined up for the opening faceoff instead of Steven Stamkos, who was listed in the starting lineup.

According to the rules, Stamkos was supposed to take the faceoff. The referees deemed this a team violation and handed the Predators a minor penalty.

Seattle did not capitalize on the power play opportunity, but they still managed to secure a convincing victory. The Kraken won the game with a clean sheet, 3-0.

Reminder: Over the past year, franchise values in the National Hockey League have significantly increased. The average value now stands at $1.79 billion, a 37% increase compared to last year.

Additionally, it has been revealed which franchise holds the title of the most valuable in the NHL.
