N’Golo Kanté refused to train with Al Ittihad and wants to leave the club
Al Ittihad had reached an agreement over N’Golo Kanté’s departure and his move to Fenerbahçe, but problems emerged at the last moment and the transfer collapsed, with the player now doing everything possible to force an exit.
Details: According to Ben Jacobs, the French midfielder is currently refusing to train with Al Ittihad. His potential departure is considered a serious blow for the Saudi club, especially as they failed to secure the signing of José Sá. They have already lost Karim Benzema and would be unable to complete any further transfers if Kanté leaves.
We previously reported that N’Golo Kanté’s move to Fenerbahçe and Youssef En-Nesyri’s transfer to Al Ittihad were officially cancelled due to documentation issues.
Although earlier reports suggested that both parties managed to submit the required paperwork in the final minutes of the transfer window, delays meant the documents were not processed or approved in time.
Reminder: Cristiano Ronaldo did not train with Al Nassr on Tuesday, February 3. This means he is currently not preparing for the next match.
