Troost-Ekong announced his retirement on Thursday through a heartfelt message shared on social media. In a statement signed by the NFF’s Director of Communications, Ademola Olajire, the federation said it received the news with “deep pride and immense gratitude” for the defender’s decade-long service to the nation.
