Neymar's former personal chef has publicly refuted reports claiming she allegedly filed a complaint against the Brazilian forward over harsh working conditions.
Earlier, Brazilian outlet Metropoles reported that the ex-employee of the Santos striker had taken legal action, citing extremely difficult working conditions. The publication claimed that the woman was allegedly forced to work 14-hour days and was seeking compensation of 262,000 Brazilian reals (around 43,000 euros).
However, Marcela Lermi Mingorance herself denied these allegations. In a statement on Instagram, she emphasized that she has not filed any lawsuits against the footballer or his family members.
I have never filed a lawsuit for labor law violations or taken any legal action against him or his relatives, she wrote.
Mingorance also stated that the information about the alleged lawsuit is false and was published online without her consent. She added that she has already taken legal steps to have the inaccurate materials removed and to hold those who spread this information accountable.
According to her, she worked for Neymar from 2013 to 2018, and their collaboration was always based on mutual respect and professionalism.
