On February 22, Brazilian footballer Dani Alves learned his sentence in a rape case.

In addition to a prison term, the athlete was ordered to pay a compensation of 150 thousand euros to the victim, whom he is prohibited from approaching for the next 9.5 years, and to cover the legal costs.

According to reports from UOL, Neymar's family assisted Dani Alves in paying the fine, which helped mitigate the overall length of his imprisonment.

It is also known that since June of last year, the footballer's legal representation in court has been handled by Gustavo Kxisto, a long-time legal representative of Neymar's father's companies.

Throughout his career, Dani Alves has played 995 matches, scored 69 goals, and provided 199 assists. During his time with Barcelona, he won the UEFA Champions League three times and became the Spanish champion six times.
