Musiala received an outpouring of support from well-known players, among them Neymar.
Details: Yesterday's FIFA Club World Cup match between French side PSG and Bayern Munich was marred by a terrifying incident.
After a collision between PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala, the latter's leg twisted unnaturally, leaving both spectators and players in shock at the sight.
Following the injury, Musiala was stretchered off the pitch, sparking a wave of support for the young German across social media.
Words of encouragement from Neymar were shared on Instagram, where the Brazilian wrote:
"I hope you recover quickly and shine again! Football needs your talent. Stay strong!" wrote Neymar.
According to SkySports, Musiala has been diagnosed with a posterior thigh fracture.
