Neymar scores first goal and registers assist for Santos after return. VIDEO

In January 2025, Neymar left Al-Hilal and returned to his boyhood club, Santos. Since rejoining the team, he has played four matches and finally contributed to the scoresheet.

Details: On the night from Sunday to Monday, February 17, Santos faced Agua Santa and secured a convincing 3-1 victory. Neymar made his mark early, winning a penalty in the 14th minute and stepping up to convert it himself—his first goal since returning to the club.

The Brazilian star didn't stop there. Late in the match, Santos sealed the win with a third goal, and Neymar played a key role by providing the assist for his teammate to make it 3-1.

Reminder: Neymar's ultimate goal is to return to Europe, with Barcelona being his preferred destination. He is reportedly willing to sign a pre-contract at any moment. However, Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick remains concerned about Neymar’s physical condition and is unsure whether the move would be a good fit for his squad.
