Details: Santos forward Neymar addressed the wave of criticism that erupted after his participation in a poker tournament during his vacation.
Earlier, the Brazilian was slammed for skipping the team’s Copa Sudamericana matches in Venezuela, choosing instead to spend two days at a poker tournament in São Paulo.
In a video recorded at Santos’ training base, Neymar stated that he completed his scheduled training session on the day of the tournament and has the right to spend his free time as he sees fit.
"I trained in the morning, and I used my day off however I wanted. Mind your own business," Neymar declared.
The Brazilian also assured fans that he remains fully focused on preparing for the rest of the season and is determined to help the team achieve its goals.
