Yesterday, France Football officially announced the 30 players shortlisted for the 2024 Ballon d'Or, and one of the biggest surprises was the omission of Real Madrid's star, Rodrygo.
Brazilian legend Neymar reacted strongly to this decision. On his Instagram story, Neymar posted a photo of Rodrygo and commented:
“Minimum top-5 in the world. Craque”
Last season, Rodrygo scored 17 goals and provided 9 assists in 51 matches across all competitions.
The 68th Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on October 28.
