The footballer of Al-Hilal and Brazilian national team player Neymar is providing all possible assistance to his former teammate Dani Alves, as reported by Marca.

According to sources, Dani Alves, the former companion from Barcelona, PSG, and the Brazilian national team, reached out to Neymar for help. He sought assistance in legal and financial matters before the commencement of the legal proceedings against the former full-back.

It is reported that Neymar's father has transferred funds to Neymar's side for Dani Alves' defense. These funds were used to settle a compensation amounting to 150 thousand euros. This sum may contribute to mitigating the potential prison term for Dani Alves if a guilty verdict is reached.

Additionally, Dani Alves has appointed Gustavo Sisto, one of the senior legal representatives of Neymar's father's companies, as his attorney, and he has removed Dinora Santana, his former wife, from managing his assets.

It is worth recalling that from February 5-7, 2024, the renowned Brazilian footballer Dani Alves will face trial in Barcelona on charges of sexual assault. The 40-year-old Alves has been in custody without the right to bail since January 2023 when he was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a woman in a Barcelona nightclub.

In August, the presiding judge in the case filed charges against him. The prosecution in the capital of Catalonia is seeking a nine-year prison sentence for Alves.
