Next target. Barcelona aims to extend contract with their center-back
Barcelona has already extended the contracts of Hansi Flick and Raphinha, but the club isn’t stopping there, pushing forward with the same determination on the transfer front.
Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Blaugrana management plans to renew their agreement with Eric García. Back in January, they turned down an offer from Como and have since focused on one clear objective—securing García’s future at the club.
Meanwhile, Marc Casadó and Marc Bernal are also set to sign new deals in the coming weeks as part of the ongoing squad planning.
For the record, Raphinha’s new contract runs until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend for an additional season. His previous deal was valid until the summer of 2027.
Reminder: Monaco has already taken steps to strengthen their squad with 22-year-old Fati, who is under contract until 2027. No further concrete details have emerged regarding Monaco’s interest in Fati or Barcelona’s stance on the player at this time.
