Newcastle sells attacking midfielder Almirón to Atlanta United

Recently, Paraguayan attacking midfielder Miguel Almirón had been receiving less playing time at Newcastle, which ultimately led to his departure.

Details: MLS club Atlanta United officially announced the signing of Miguel Almirón today.

Almirón has signed a three-year contract with Atlanta United, with the transfer fee reported to be around €13 million.

This season, Almirón made just 9 Premier League appearances without registering any goals or assists.

It is worth noting that in the winter of 2019, Almirón originally joined Newcastle from Atlanta United for €24 million.
