The English club, Newcastle, continues its search for a new goalkeeper after the main goalkeeper, Nick Pope, suffered a serious injury.
According to Sunday Mirror, the club's management is considering the candidacy of Tottenham legend, Hugo Lloris.
The 36-year-old French goalkeeper has lost the trust of the coaching staff this season and has not participated in any matches. Earlier, there were also reports of Newcastle's interest in David de Gea, who is currently a free agent.
It's worth noting that, according to doctors' forecasts, Nick Pope is expected to miss approximately four months.
In the previous Premier League round, Tottenham defeated Newcastle with a score of 4-1.
