Newcastle identify four candidates to replace Isak

Newcastle is struggling to keep hold of their main leader, Alexander Isak. At the same time, the Magpies are preparing for the worst, namely the departure of the Swedish forward, by considering potential replacements.

Details: According to TEAMtalk, four candidates are being considered at St. James' Park. These are: Liam Delap from Ipswich, Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting (though Newcastle understands the competition for him is fierce), Victor Boniface from Bayer, and Samuel Omorodion from Porto.

The Bayer forward still needs an internal assessment from Newcastle, who are monitoring his performances, before the club makes a decision on his transfer. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old Omorodion wants to play for a club participating in the Champions League, so the Magpies need to qualify for it to compete for his transfer.

Reminder: Previously, Newcastle stated that it would be madness to consider selling Isak.
