Newcastle dismantled Sheffield United in the 35th round of the Premier League with a resounding 5:1 victory.

In this season, Newcastle has scored a total of 13 goals against Sheffield United in two matches. This stands as the highest number of goals scored by one team against another in a single campaign in the history of the tournament. In the first-round match, the Magpies secured a devastating 8:0 victory.

Today's triumph over their struggling opponent was sealed through goals from Bruno Guimaraes, Callum Wilson, a brace from Andreas Isak, and an own goal by Osborne.

With 53 points, Newcastle currently occupies the seventh position in the table and is contending for a spot in European competitions at the end of the season. On May 4th, the Magpies will face Burnley.

Following this encounter, the Blades lost any chance of retaining their top-flight status and were relegated from the elite division of English football.

Sheffield United has three more matches to play, and even victories in those games will not lift the team to the safety of the 17th position. After a year-long stint in the Premier League, the Blades are heading back to the Championship.
