Last season, Newcastle's infirmary was overcrowded time and time again. This worried fans, and it seems they already know the reason for it.
Fans have taken notice of how the recovery from the cruciate ligament injury of “Magpies’” defender, Sven Botman, is undergoing, which he suffered in March. The player himself posted a video of the process on his social media accounts.
It has been noted that the level of work the Dutchman is doing is ahead of plan to recover from the injury, which has raised concerns that Botman is being prepared for a hasty return to the squad.
Moreover, the defender has already had a recurrence of the injury as a consequence of this recovery, and this is even more worrying.
Botman's injury ruled him out for nine months, while the Dutchman returned to action four months after the injury.
