Former world champion and now prominent promoter Oscar De La Hoya addressed his British counterpart Eddie Hearn.

Details: De La Hoya stated that he holds no animosity toward his industry colleague but considers him a “terrible promoter.”

Quote: "And just when things couldn't get worse for my friend Eddie Hearn, they did. Dmitry Bivol suffered his first defeat, proving once again that the Matchroom curse is real. 14 of your main event fighters have lost this year. That must be some kind of record.

Listen, despite the awful things people say about you, I have no ill will toward you. I'm just pointing out the facts that you’re incapable of doing your job. People say you're a huge jerk and a loser who was spoon-fed, a trust-fund failure. I just think you’re a terrible promoter, and you’ve proven me right. I don't know how long your funding will last, considering you haven't built anything at all, but that’s not my problem.

You have two months left to atone for your sins in 2024, Eddie. I believe in you. Well, actually, I don’t," De La Hoya declared.
