Al Ahly’s sporting director Mohamed Ramadan is investigating possible changes to the club’s player contract structure. The system, described on Al Ahly TV, will replace the current hierarchy with a performance-based system. Ramadan aims to align player salaries more directly with on-field contributions and statistical performances, and to reward those who play a key role in winning the tournament.

According to presenter Osama Hosny, Ramadan looked at the financial structure of player contracts, which are currently divided into categories I, II and III, and sees an opportunity for change based on merit The new structure contributes takes precedence over player rankings, meaning only those with proven influence will become paid more.

Ramadan will present a proposal to club president Mahmoud El Khatib before a final decision is made. This initiative will also extend a special incentive program for athletes participating in the upcoming Intercontinental Championships.
